Lets visit Cala San Vicente
Cala San Vicente

Cala San Vicente, in Spanish Cala de San Vicent, is a beautiful little bay in the northeast of the island of Ibiza. The golden sandy beach is about 400 meters long and 25 meters wide. This makes it the longest beach in the province of San Juan.

The beach is also surrounded by high rocks with pine trees and you are almost always sheltered from the wind. However, if there is an east wind, the wave can be quite strong. Keep this in mind. On warm days, a lighter breeze can be very pleasant.

The bay has beautiful clear water and the beach is located in a beautiful arc around the water. The seabed slopes gradually and a few tens of meters into the sea, the water is only 2 meters deep. This makes it ideal for swimming peacefully, but also ideal for families with children. In addition, there is a demarcated area for swimmers and during the high season there is a lifeguard during the day.

The beach is equipped with various facilities, including sunbeds with umbrellas, outdoor showers and toilets. In addition, Cala San Vicente offers various water sports options. You can rent pedal boats and kayaks, sail, wakeboard, water ski and sail. You can also snorkel well.

The beach also has a car-free promenade where several restaurants, bars and a few shops can be found. Enjoy delicious Spanish dishes and the best wines while you have a beautiful view of the bay.

Hotspot in Cala San Vicente
Cave Es Cuieram
The Es Cuieram stalactite cave is located near Cala San Vicente. Of course this cave is worth a visit if you stay on this beach. The discovery of this cave was absolutely important to the island. Archaeologists were invited to enter the cave in 1907. 600 different terracotta statues were found in the cave. In addition, bones of a lion were found. The cave was probably inhabited since the Bronze Age. Of course, not all of the findings can be found in the cave. Most of the finds have been brought to the Archaeological Museum. Still it is nice to just take a walk through the stalactite cave accompanied by a guide.
